Under President Biden, Americans get tricks, not treats.

It’s not news that people have been paying more for less under President Biden thanks to his inflationary policies. Even candy prices continued the trend with a 13 percent increase this Halloween.

In fact, it is expected that the average consumer will be paying $108.24 this year on Halloween festivities. Whether it’s turning their home into a haunted house or passing out candy to kids in the neighborhood, Americans are getting “tricks” as a result of President Biden’s failed economic policies.

It doesn’t take a genius to realize this isn’t how it should be. It’s failed economic policies and runaway spending that’s gotten the country to this point, and that’s why House Republicans are fighting to rein in spending in Washington. This week alone, we’ll be considering three appropriations bills, and I’ll be going through them carefully to make sure that they’re a responsible use of your tax dollars. Stay tuned.
