I doubt this will be a shock to you, but average gas prices in Florida have hit a new high: $3.31 per gallon.  That’s $1.23 more than folks were paying this time last year.  Prices at the pump aren’t the only thing going up: utility costs are steadily climbing and there’s no end in sight.

That’s why I’m completely dumbfounded by reports that President Biden is considering shutting down another American pipeline.  He’s already closed down the Keystone XL Pipeline, and he’s thinking about doing the same to Line 5, a pipeline in Michigan.  Doing so would further cut our oil and petroleum supply, driving prices even higher.

This is just the latest example of Biden’s backwards priorities.  He’s more concerned with appeasing woke leftists than ensuring that Americans can heat their homes and power their cars.

Between inflation and a supply chain crisis, people are paying more for everything.  We need to find ways to lower costs, not drive them up.
