As a father of four rambunctious monkeys, my biggest responsibility is to let my kids be kids and do everything I can to set them up for success.

However, throughout the pandemic, some adults abandoned that responsibility to help them grow and succeed.  Even after it became clear that COVID-19 was a minimal threat to kids, the teachers’ unions and their far-left allies in Washington kept kids locked in their rooms, staring at their screens all day.

The two years of negligence brought a catastrophic result on our kids.

Now their reading and math scores plummeted while their mental health issues have skyrocketed.

We need to step up and help our kids get back on track.  It’s time to get the politics out of the classroom and focus on making sure every student has the skills they need to succeed.
