Have you been to the grocery store this week?  Have you put gas in your tank?  If you’re planning a trip, have you booked your hotel or plane ticket? 

If so, you probably noticed that your wallet took a bigger hit than usual.  Today, the Department of Labor confirmed what every American already knew just by looking at their receipts: inflation has driven prices up by 5 percent from last year. 

But what is President Biden’s solution to growing inflation? Spend more money. 

At a time when Americans are already pinching pennies, Democrats in Washington, D.C. are planning to spend $3,500,000,000,000.  That’s 3.5 trillion, with eleven zeros. This latest spending spree is just going to drive prices up even higher. 

But Democrats in Congress are determined to enact their far-left wish list, regardless of the negative impacts it will have on those they are supposed to represent.  They are more concerned with expanding the federal government and restricting your rights than with supporting hardworking families to ensure that they can afford a trip to the grocery store.
