Here is a pop quiz - who said the following:  “The pandemic is over.”

It was Joe Biden, back in September of last year.

If the President believes that the pandemic is over, why is he waiting until May 11 to end the COVID-19 pandemic emergency declarations?  There is no good explanation for it except the Biden Administration does not want to let go of the power it grabbed under the guise of “public health.”  That power has allowed the President to do everything from increaseMedicare payment rates to hospitals and dramatically expand food stamp benefits.

Enough is enough.  Yesterday, with my support, the House of Representatives passed the Pandemic Is Over Act, which would terminate the COVID-19 public health emergency declaration and give the power back to the people.  I will continue to fight to protect our God-given freedoms and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution.
