As our economy continues to recover in the aftermath of COVID-19, I am continuing to fight in Congress to make sure our small businesses have every resource they need to get stronger every day.  

That is why, this week, I joined my colleagues to pass three pieces of legislation to help small businesses, including:

• Microloan Improvement Act, which increases the size of certain loans the Small Business Administration can make available to small businesses up to $10,000.

• Microloan Transparency and Accountability Act, which will help improve the effectiveness of the Microloan Program.

• 504 Modernization and Small Manufacturer Enhancement Act, which increases loan availability for small manufacturers. 

Now more than ever, we need to support the entrepreneurs and the small business leaders who are helping our economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic and that’s exactly what these bills are all about.
