With Coronavirus Driving Unemployment Up, Mast Launches Virtual Job Fair To Help 18th District Residents
Stuart, Fla. – With coronavirus driving unemployment up, U.S. Congressman Brian Mast (FL-18) last night launched a virtual job fair to help residents of the 18th Congressional District find employment in and around our community. Individuals looking for a job can go to mast.house.gov/jobfair to find available job listings. Currently there are more than 80 jobs available, and additional jobs will be added daily as the listings are received.
“With the coronavirus pandemic, the hardest working people have been asked something never before seen: don’t go to work,” Rep. Mast said. “Now, with our state beginning a phased re-opening, my goal is to turn that around and find every job out there to fill with someone looking for work! Starting right now.”
Video of Rep. Mast discussing the effort is available here:
Employers looking to list a job availability can submit their listing at mast.house.gov/email. Rep. Mast’s office is also available to assist 18th Congressional District constituents with unemployment claims, federal economic impact payments, small businesses assistance and more at 202-225-3026.
