Have you tried screaming into your pillow in order to solve a problem?  It might make you feel better, but it’s about as effective as waving a magic wand when it comes to results.

That’s precisely what Vice President Kamala Harris did when she went to Guatemala and told migrants, “do not come.”  She might’ve felt better, but the problems at our southern border have only gotten worse in the year since.

Since that plea, there have been more than 2.5 million illegal border crossings, and Customs and Border Patrol officers have captured almost 12,189 lb of fentanyl, which would be enough to kill 2,764,419 people.

With 5 migrants crossing the southern border EVERY MINUTE, our border is far from being secure. But just last month, President Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security said that our “border is secure.”  This couldn’t be further from the truth.

The Biden Administration needs to act and address this crisis at our southern border.  We need leaders who will act, not just blow hot air.
