Being a dad is the best job I’ve ever had, and I know I’m not the only dad to think that.  I’m grateful for every day I get to spend with my four rambunctious monkeys.

I also would not be where I am today if it weren’t for my own dad.  I still remember when I was recovering from my injuries sustained in Afghanistan when my dad told me, “don’t let your best days of service be behind you.”  Those words stuck with me, and it’s why I continue to fight everyday.

So to every father - thank you for being an inspiration to your children.  I hope you have a chance to spend today with those you love.
