It’s not a coincidence that just as President Trump passed the biggest tax cuts for all Americans and started to spend less, our economy saw its full potential and grew at an unprecedented rate.

It’s also not a coincidence that after President Biden and the Democrats tried to roll back those tax cuts and spent like there’s no tomorrow, we are seeing such huge inflation in grocery and gas prices.

This is how it’s been: when the government forgets it’s spending YOUR tax dollars our economy hits rock bottom.  The result is skyrocketing national debt and constant price hikes.

That is why earlier this year, I voted against the debt limit bill that President Biden and Speaker McCarthy negotiated.  While Speaker McCarthy did what he could to tap the brakes on President Biden’s irresponsible spending habit, I don’t believe it maximized the rare opportunity to address major threats to our economy and our national security: the $32 trillion national debt and Democrats’ liberal agenda.

Congress has one month to pass the spending bills that fund the federal government for the upcoming fiscal year.  We need to take a good, hard look at how your tax dollars are being spent, and finally rein in this out-of-control spending.

I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
