Russia is testing our resolve.

After a year of the Biden Administration abandoning the policies of peace through strength, border security, energy independence and a self-reliant supply chain, Russia concluded that the time was right to launch a war that could potentially wipe a sovereign nation off the map. 

The United States and our allies must draw a red line and make it clear that this act of war will not be tolerated.

That is why I’ve called on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to hold an emergency joint meeting to implement policies that would isolate Putin and force him to remove his forces from sovereign Ukraine.  Now is the time that America must step up and lead. 

The world watched in horror when Kabul fell to the hands of terrorists just six months ago.  Together with our allies, we need to act now and prevent another Kabul.
