This week in Congress, there were two high profile hearings: Secretary of State Antony Blinken appeared before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs to answer questions about some of the biggest issues facing the U.S. on the global stage, and the CEO of TikTok, Shou Chew, faced the House Committee on Energy and Commerce to discuss the app.

Both hearings left us with more questions than answers.

Secretary Blinken would not commit to testifying about the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and Mr. Chew couldn’t confirm that TikTok was not used to spy on American citizens.
