Putin started a war against Ukraine, and Biden started a war against American energy.

Biden closed down the Keystone XL Pipeline on his first day in office.  Since then, he’s continued to gut any infrastructure project that would produce energy here in the United States, shutting down land leases and making it impossible to even explore American-made energy.

These failed policies are manifesting themselves in the form of rising gas prices and higher inflation.  The average price for a gallon of gas is over $4, which is the highest it’s been in fourteen years.  Joe Biden is forcing Americans to calculate how many miles it is from work to their kids’ schools and forcing Americans to decide if they are going to buy groceries or pay the electric bill.

Biden needs to reverse course and focus on alleviating the pressure. That starts by ending his attacks on American energy.

I discuss this and more in the latest Week in Review.
