Every single American relies on our nation’s infrastructure.  Whether it’s Florida’s waterways or the supply chain, it impacts everyone.  That’s why, as a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I prioritized improving our nation’s infrastructure this year.

At the top of that list for me is Everglades restoration.  I’ve been advocating for full funding for the Everglades, and although Congressional Democrats left it out of their bill, I’ll continue this fight in the new year.  

I also worked this year to hold the Biden Administration accountable for their supply chain disaster, and I introduced legislation to eliminate red tape that was making the crisis worse.  

There’s no doubt we need a smart investment in our nation’s infrastructure, and I’m confident that working together, we can do so without mortgaging our children’s future and increasing taxes.
