You work hard for your dollars.  When you pay taxes, you should be able to confidently say that those dollars are being used for your benefit by your government!

Alarmingly, under President Joe Biden, that’s not what’s happening.  Instead, he’s sending an increasingly large amount of dollars overseas.  Once these dollars leave our border, there’s typically very little accountability to how those dollars are spent – and scarily, we have evidence that these dollars are being used to fund terrorism.

I’m fighting back to protect your tax dollars and ensure supporting Americans is the top priority of our government:

• This week, the House Foreign Affairs Committee advanced a bill I helped write to defund a U.S. taxpayer-backed agency that has funneled money to Hamas terrorism.  There is no reason your tax dollars should be used to fund the salaries of the workers who attacked Israel on October 7th!
• I also voted to support our strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel.  These dollars are critical to the safety and security of the United States.  By countering adversaries like Iran through support for Israel, we can prevent anti-American terror from reaching our shores. 

As your representative in Congress, I will continue fighting to make sure your tax dollars benefit you through efficient, effective, and accountable efforts to keep America safe.
