For 2026, White House tours are unavailable for the remainder of June, all of July, and the beginning of August. As securing White House tour tickets is no longer possible this summer, I have put together a guide of other events and exhibitions happening in Washington and the Treasure Coast for America’s 250th birthday. Current Availability of DC Tours

White House: Tours of The White House include the public rooms on the State Floor, which include the Blue Room, Red Room, Green Room, State Dining Room, Cross Hall, and Entrance Hall. Secret Service Officers are stationed along the tour route and are available to answer questions about each room’s history, art, furnishings, current uses, and beyond.

  1. White House tour requests should be submitted at least 90 days in advance of the requested tour date.
  2. Tours are generally available 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday as well as 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). When possible, public tour hours will be extended based on the official White House schedule.
  3. All White House tours are free of charge.
  4. Tour schedules may change at any time, with little notice, due to inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, even after your tour is confirmed.

U.S. Capitol: Tours of the U.S. Capitol are offered by the Capitol Visitor Center Monday-Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. All tours are led by professional tour guides and visit the Crypt, Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall. 

FBI Headquarters: Must be scheduled 21 days in advance. However, since tours are first come first serve, it is recommended to request a tour 60-90 days in advance of your visit.
