Resolution Raising Awareness For Glioblastoma
Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive, difficult to treat and deadly brain tumors we have ever seen. Sadly, this disease takes the life of 10,000 Americans every year, including my friend Mark Cunningham.
Glioblastoma has caused a lot of pain in our community, which is why I introduced legislation to raise awareness and find new ways to treat this terrible disease. This resolution would also designate July 22nd as “Glioblastoma Awareness Day.”
This resolution is about giving hope to every person in our community and across the country who is battling this disease and honoring the lives of those we’ve tragically lost at its hands. I am committed to building on the progress we’ve made to learn more about this disease and develop new treatments, and I’m confident that we can find a cure once and for all.
