I’m proud to announce that our office has officially reopened inside the Thomas H. Corey VA Medical Center. Starting today, a member of my team will be on-site every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to assist veterans with any questions, issues, or concerns.
Every week in Washington, my mission is the same: stand up for Americans. This week was no exception. From new legislation to end taxes on military bonuses and help veterans cut through red tape, to bills that give the victims of natural disasters the flexibility they need to get back on their feet, it was all about putting Americans first.
Our military service members proudly raise their right hand and swear to defend our country, and in return, they deserve to keep every cent of the bonuses they earn. But unfortunately, that’s not the case. It’s about time we remove the unfair tax burden that has long affected military bonuses and let our soldiers, sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Guardians keep more of their hard-earned money.
We had a busy week in Washington, introducing two new pieces of legislation and fighting back against more of the disasters Joe Biden left behind.
As an Army veteran who has navigated the difficult transition home after deployment, I can’t imagine anything worse than returning from a tour of duty only to find a trespasser living in my home. Unfortunately, this is a reality for many.
President Trump made a promise to bring American manufacturing back and he’s delivering. As billions of dollars in investments flood into the United States, we’re putting jobs back in our communities where they belong.
Every child is unique, and their education should reflect that. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning, which is why school choice is so important.
As a father of four, I understand firsthand the importance of ensuring every child has the resources and opportunities they need to succeed—because success looks different for every student. My wife and I chose to homeschool our kids for several years, allowing us to personalize their curriculum and provide incredible learning experiences, like exploring social studies firsthand by traveling to Washington, D.C. with me. It was absolutely the right choice for our family at that time.

It was a long-awaited return last night as our brave astronauts splashed down into the Gulf of America.
When NASA astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, arrived at the International Space Station in June, they expected to stay for maybe a few weeks. Instead, they spent an unexpected nine months in space after issues with their Boeing Starliner prevented their return.

Congress had one major item on the to-do list this week: fund the government. By passing a continuing resolution, or a CR, we’ve extended funding for crucial programs like Medicaid, but we’ve also reallocated funds to make sure that every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely. That means investing in things like a pay increase for junior enlisted troops and investment in air traffic control systems.
After years of the Biden administration dismantling our border security, President Trump has made his message clear to all illegal immigrants: leave now on your own, and you may get the chance to return, but force law enforcement to remove you and you will never be allowed to come back.
